I have an underactive thyroid which, at my recent (this year) blood test was normal. I take Levothyroxine daily. I am always the coldest person in the room - I needed my coat on but my friend took her cardigan off! I mentioned it to the doctor, and I had a blood test specifically related to my heart but that came back normal. I'm 78. Any ideas please?

hypothyroidism would make perfect sense
Sensitivity to cold is a symptom of hypothyroidism, so there could clearly be a link there.

Hi I am only 58 and the same and I have reynards disease just a thought
Hypothyroidism wouldn't make perfect sense.......she is taking laevothyroxine and her thyroid tests are normal.

I don't suppose that you are taking beta blockers?
Surely this is normal. Most other folk have desensitised their nerve endings and claim cold temperature is normal and decent temperature is too hot. Been that way all my life. Apparently there's nowt as queer as folk.
