Knife Crime

Why are so many people surprised at this sort of crime, or any other to be on the increase. There's been around 30 years of family neglect, parents just happy to doss on the dole, do drugs and booze all day and night, what a great education to pass on to their kids, no values. no morals. if you can't buy it, just take it, just keep having kid after kid for more family allowance, and let them run the streets. Don't care who I upset. ( that's the truth) as long as you have drugs and drink and neglected kids you will have high crime.

I agree, if a kid is stabbing anyone, then the kids parents have gone seriously wrong somewhere.

I agree there's been long term neglect of morals and values. Whether they do drugs and booze day and night is another thing, I have no proof. What I did read is that kids are arming themselves with knives to protect themselves from being stabbed in the first place, which kind of makes for a worse situation. They're more scared of getting stabbed than of not having a knife to arm themselves with, crazy I know.

If you have a 10 week old puppy and you don't train it, but you let it run wild, you will end up with a violent, vicious, savage dangerous, ruthless dog. That's what the parents have done with their kids. No excuses.

I have a ten week old puppy as it happens but I know of no knife carrying or stabbing dogs

It's not the complete reason, however, poor parenting doesn't help. It's a mixture of complex reasons coming together. I have an appointment to keep, bye all.

the prog I can recommend is 24 hr police custody

this week - knife crime. It follows two stabbings - one fatal
in the fatal one the stabbers quickly realise ( post facto) that they have completely screwed their lives for about 20 y [no dogs - dog lovers be reassured!]

I have to agree that parental neglect has played it's part along with, lack of respect for teachers/police and anyone else in authority. I do believe that you also have to take into account the influx into some of our cities of nationals from countries where life is considered cheaper than the value we put on it. Countries where disagreements are often settled with extreme violence. Our home grown thugs are, supposedly, fighting fire with fire.
