I usually go for a phillishave with the circular heads, as some people find foil shavers leave them irritated. They are aound 25- 40 quid for them.

my hubby uses a phillishave one, the type which has the nivea aftershave cream in it too. He gets real bad razor burn, and this really helps. Plus one of them is rechargeable and he keeps it at work in case he has a late meeting which he has to suddenly spruce up for, or incase he doesn't get home at all and ends up working all night......

That lifestyle, tho, is not compulsory to owning the shaver.

oh, forgot to say, that it is quite easy to use, I can carry it and pick it up when I clean the bathroom etc, so I'm sure it is way under a ton....

;-)

I've got a phillips coolskin and it works well.

However I have recently started wet shaving after 30 years of electric shaving and I must say that probably you would not get such a close shave with an electric shaver.

A decent electric rechargable shaver will probably cost about the money you say but as with most things in life you get what you pay for.
