Three Day Headache

Had a headache for the last few days that I just cant shake off?
Paracetomol etc just don't touch it.
Bit like 'brain freeze' (when you have ate something cold) behind the right eye and into the upper head.
Just cant shake it off....any suggestions?

Could be a cluster migraine. I used to suffer from these and I found that normal pain killers wouldn't touch it. Imigran sorted them out, thankfully.

Try something like Sudafed. It sounds like you need a decongestant.

Or...was it something you ate/drank/did on your cruise?

pinched nerves maybe? I'd be seeing an osteopath about it, if pills hadn't worked after three days

Providing that you have not had a cold with nasal discharge I would suggest that it is Migraine.You say that OTC analgesics do not help, then that of course depends upon you dosage.
I would take Ibuprophen 600 mgms up to 4 times a day if necessary..
It should settle.
Cluster headaches is a good shout, but they tend to be spasmodic and not constant.

Feel as though I have an axe in my head and my right eye is split in two...painkillers just don't remove it.

Try mind over matter. Pinch yourself hard till the headache stops - that way you control pain.

Have you tried the good old hot water bottle, wraped in a towel and applied to the affected area?

My daughter in law is at the tail end of a cold too. She gave exact symptoms ad you, over eye and through top of het head, especially when she bends down. Sounds like sinus to me. Hope you can get some relief soon.
