Minor illness and Metabolism
2 Answers
Hi All, tried googling this but to no avail....
Assuming all other things are equal and I make no changes to my lifestyle will the common cold (no fever) reduce/increase my metabolic rate.
Thanks

It is controlled by various hormones eg.Insulin, adrenalin, thyroid hormones and others all of which influence the rate at which chemical processes are carried out in body cells.
