Greasy Hair

Any ideas on how i can keep my hair nice and shiny for at least 2 days?? I had it cut and coloured last week and it stayed lovely and shiny for a while then when i washed it first time after i had been to hairdressers within a day and a half it look like i'd stuck my head in the chip pan!! My hair gets cut regularly and is in good condition apart from grease!! I have tried shampoo's for greasy hair but no joy and also i need one that locks in the colour - i went from blonde to brunette. Is it cuz maybe i use too much conditioner - shall i go without or use a little

Sounds like you may be using the wrong conditioner or shampoo. What are you using?

Tried everything - sunsilk, tresemme, dove, but i kept to them for a while. i didn't swap and change everytime

Try Pantene,they do one for coloured hair.and all their products are ace. I tried Tresemme,never again,awful!! Made my husband use it so not to waste it and snuck out and bought some Pantene for me. He moaned a bit though!

Shampoos for greasy hair make your hair more greasy! They're a con because they make you need to wash your hair more frequently. Just use a bulk standard normal hair shampoo like Head and Shoulders and only condition your ends. Don't overbrush or touch your hair too much either. Hope this helps!

I wish I had the answer then I would do the same with my hair. I wash it usually at night and the next day it is lovely and fluffy and the day after it is lank. I usually tie it up that day. It is not greasy but it lacks bounce. It takes 3 days for my hair to get greasy. It is interesting to note that Tresemme is a waste of time, it has saved me from trying it then.

Ta all. I will give Pantene a go. Washed it last night and only put conditioner on the ends, not too bad today although my bf commented on my greasy hair at least 5 times last night!!! he actually thought i put wet look gel in it (bless!)

i use tres semme and i think it is the best. i have used pantene and it made my hair worse. head and shoulders is good but it can fade hair colour. tres semme seems very gentle on my hair and it leaves it shiny but not greasy.
