Where Are People Catching Covid-19 From?
125 Answers
The UK has now been in lockdown nearly five weeks, longer than it takes an individual to catch CV-19 and show signs, therefore the hundreds of new cases admitted yesterday into hospital and the 813 people who died in hospital yesterday must have caught the virus after the lockdown -or did they? Where are people catching the virus? In supermarkets? From delivered shopping? Post? Why is the Government not researching where people are catching the virus from now we are in lockdown.?

Yes, I did. I understood at the time that there was maybe one case that saw someone appear to have the disease a second time, which is far more likely to have arisen because of a false negative.
It's worth stating that, as far as I can tell, even now the picture is that there's not enough evidence to confirm immunity, rather than evidence against it.

I'm not sure of the numbers of false positives on Covid-19 tests. I.ve read that some tests can show positive for all Corona viruses, which would include the seasonal flu -but I've had the flu shot as I do every year. I was very ill with most of the symptoms except my cough was not that bad, and I tested positive. I also had and still have a rash, which apparently can happen. I was told by a consultant that the fact I am on anti-TNF medication probably stopped the virus from getting a hold in my lungs -I'm afraid you will have to look that up yourself, as I don't want to make this thread 'all about me'. I think it would depend on the robustness of your immune system as to the possibility of contracting the virus twice. If one did then surely the symptoms would not be as severe, but of course, you would be able to infect others, so a 'green light' for those who have had the virus might be a bit premature at his point.
APG the last person I heard of that thought she had it phoned 111 and a doctor phoned her back, asked a few questions and said it's possible she has it and she should self isolate, but she is still sharing a bed with her husband! Surely she shouldn't be doing that if there is a possibility she may have it?
