OH has just given me a card to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very nice of him and a lovely card but apart from thanking him and saying how pleased I am think I will stay quiet about it. He obviously grabbed the first one he saw as the card is the kind you send to a couple on their wedding day to congratulate them on their wedding.

What would you do under these circumstances?

stay silent but add it to the list of something to bring up in 20 years time in order to win an argument
I once gave my daughter a Christmas card on her birthday! Some inconsiderate person had put the card back in the incorrect pile and all I saw - without my 'readers' was the word Daughter. We laughed about it though I suppose the tenner inside helped.
Oh dear. Something like this always gets downloaded to a woman's harddrive:-)
Ask him for the cake.
I've had a 'personalised' birthday card with the wrong name on it, think my friend forgot to change the sample name show on the website, i thanked her but didn't say anything.
I would laugh - and so would he.
Send him a sorry for your loss card
When he says he hasn't lost anything
Stare pointedly at his nuts
My grandson sent me a card to with greatgrandmother on it. The sentiment was lovely as he thought it was to a great grandmother.
nothing.
Thank him for the card , give him a kiss, show him the card ,then tell him he needs to go to Specsavers!
He's a man! He remembered! My husband once sent me a Valentine's card 'To One I love'. I asked him who the others were! He always remembered it.
I should just let it go.

Not going to say anything. He had to dash out to get card after I gave him one from me. Very new to him as it is only 3/4 years. I'm not sure how many.
We would have laughed it off, Happy Anniversary x

My friend's Mum sent her a Get well soon card after giving birth to a healthy little girl :-)
Well Lady J. If you’re not sure how many years you’ve been married you can hardly blame him for picking up the wrong card :))

I’d just say ‘Thank you, that’s lovely’.
I was riding into work early one morning and realised it was my wife's birthday that day. I was on a night's layover up North in Newcastle so I stopped off at the Newsagents outside my work and hurriedly bought a birthday card with 'Wife' written on the front. When I got to work and started writing it before my journey I realised it was a Wedding anniversary card. I just wrote Happy Anniversary on your birthday and scribbled out the wedding.
I got home the same day the card was delivered and she wasn't impressed.
Us men dont usually pay much attention to cards, we dont mean anything by it it is just the way we are.

At least he got you one - I have forgotten in the past (and spoke with a high voice for a fair few weeks after!)
Mr T never gets it wrong. (That's because we don't send each other a wedding anniversary card. We don't send each other a Christmas card, either.)

Oh come on, he's a man. What do you expect?
(and yes, I am a man)
Ground up lightbulbs in dinner. Key his car. Move out. Divorce proceedings.
thank him sweetly - it is very very near the right one
