1. It's Friday and it's payday.
2. I have Monday and Tuesday off. Monday is OH's birthday and we're going for a champagne picnic.
3. We've managed to find 5 bags of plaster - had to pay through the nose for it though.
4. The weather is beautiful.
5. My aunt got to visit my uncle today for the first time in nearly 2 months. Poor chap has had a stroke whilst recovering from Covid but we've been reassured there's no lasting damage.

Not my words Milady, but the words of Mr Ian Robins Dury.
I don't really need reasons to be cheerful to be honest. As the great man kept saying,'you keep *** along' and what ever shi'ite sandwich comes your way you swallow it and put it behind you and live to fight another day. I have had a few battles to fight and I won't give in. Of course this beautiful weather helps. Shame I am strictly on the wagon at the moment apart from a slight lapse about two weeks ago when Lidls did a very nice Rioja. :-) Keep safe and savour the day folks.
