I think it reduces the amount of fat absorbed from food. It does seem to work, but with the usual proviso - when you come off it, if you haven't changed your eating habits then you're going to put the weight straight back on. Also it's very expensive and very hard (perhaps impossible) to get on the NHS. Might be useful if you really do need to lose a lot of weight quickly for medical reasons (an upcoming operation, for instance), but as with all "miracle" weight-loss treatments, it won't help you to keep the weight off once you've lost it.
Incidentally, I am led to believe that one of the side effects is very stinky stools.

it works by blocking 30% ov fat from entering your body u have 2 follow a low fat diet ov no more than 5 grammes ov fat in each meal im taking it at mo so ill let u all know the outcome....so far so good
I took it for a little bit. When i started taken it i was 15 stone and when i was taken it i got down to 13 and a half stone so theres the difference for you. I had to watch the amount of fat in my food though. You can get it on the NHS but you have to prove to your doctor that you can loose wait first before you can get it. You have to loose about 3Lbs first.
