We walk about 3 miles every morning and at least 2 miles most evenings depending on the Weather of course. Worked out once that since we moved to this part of the country I have walked over 30,000 miles.
Yes, I walk a lot taking my dog out and as I live near to the town centre, I walk to do my shopping too.
Done 15,000 steps today up at Druridge Bay
I did. I can't now and I miss it like mad, especially as I live surrounded by countryside and have footpaths from the garden. Hubby walks the dog miles most days.

My GP considers it just about the best and safest form of exercise for those of us of a certain age, especially as I'm not able to go to swimming pools at the moment.
Yes and have missed it these last 4 months with my trapped nerve. Also missed my holiday where we usually walk about 12/13 miles of coastal path.
Since the lockdown I've walked between 7 and twelve miles per day and gained 6 Kilos of pure fat.
Where were you walking too.. The pie shop?
wasn't the pub was it?
The chair, was * walking back to happiness*
Health issues mean that I can't now walk anywhere near as far as I used to but, in principle, I do enjoy walking.

However, if you really want to stay fit and alert, here's how to do it ;-)

Thanx chris for that crazy vid. : )
[With apologies to Piggynose]

Hi Anne.

I had my 9th chemo treatment on Thursday and I've got a 10th one (which I think will be my last, at least for a while) booked three weeks after that. The consultant is due to phone me while I'm having that session, to update me on my progress. He's previously dropped a reference to radiation therapy into a conversation with me, so I assume that's what he's got lined up next for me. I'm basically feeling fine though (as I hope you are too).
Keep going, Buen. I'm happy to hear that you feel well.
Thanks, Tilly2 ;-)
WALK!

One day something will stop you walking. You’ll get heart disease, lose a leg, get foot problems - so WALK while you still can.

In fact do EVERYTHING while you still can.

Life is far shorter, far less predictable than you can imagine.
We walk everyday as we have a dog to take out. Then, more often than not, we have another, brisker walk later in the day. The only days we don't have a second walk are when it's hot. I hate walking in the sunshine.
Spring and Autumn are my seasons. I don't much like the Summer. Today has been lovely. Excellent walking weather.
Yes I walk the dog everyday, but I prefer to walk on my own, so I can get a bit of a spurt on, his highness (the dog) slows me down, with his sniffing around, with every couple of steps we take
