Doesn't sound like the title of a book that would much interest me. Maybe suited to those following a legal career, or possibly one in psychiatry ?

Not at all, geezer. It's aimed at women who are puzzled by the 'manosphere' movement - which grew out of a parallel (and sympathetic) 'men's lib' back in the early 70s, where blokes like me tried to find a new path that wasn't the well-trodden misogynist one our peers and fathers had beaten for us, but which was swiftly taken over the woman-haters, and made their own.

Interesting reading for any woman, and any man who wants to live a decent life.

Possibly, but I'd like your marvellously perspicacious insights that show how right you are.

It doesn't seem like a book I will be rushing to read.

You can take a position on anything at all, and dredge up information and comment to back it up, but that doesn't mean that it actually exists beyond the imagination of its author.

The differences between the sexes have been apparent as long as there has been a difference between the sexes, and it's fertile ground for one 'side' to line up against the other.

The problem is, it uses rare and extreme examples of attitudes and behaviours, and paints them as though they are completely standard and normal across the gender, and they are patently not.

A book like this will appeal to women who view men as an alien species to be feared and distrusted, which is a supreme irony, since that is the accusation labeled at men in the first place, an imbalance which this book is pretending to address, while merely confirming stereotypes and prejudices.

I could write a book confirming that the earth is flat, and amass a load of evidence and quotes from learned academics to back up my view, but at the end of the day, it's not true, and writing a book about it doesn't make it true.

and frankly, if you (men who wear these things) are so insecure and self-obsessed that you feel the need to advertise your right-on credentials to complete strangers by wearing attention-seeking clothing, then it's time you grew up and started acting like an adult.

If you really feel the need to draw attention to yourself from random strangers because you are so insecure and needy and want to be noticed - wear a shirt with "This is what an immature needy plea for attention look like" - at least that would be accurate!
