I read somewhere that some folk seem to think that Cliff Richards is trying to look young again, I'm not sure in what way he could do this. He dresses normally, smart, no hair colour, no sign of a blown up face / botox, apart from keeping himself as fit as possible there's very little change that I can see.
So the question is really, are there more options for a woman, (Older woman) to attempt to look younger than a (older man), its got to be yes in my view, a lot more. To name a few, A tan blast, Botox, wrinkle injections, heavy makeup . Can you think of any more. I dare say men could go in for botox/ injections, but most wouldn't go that far.
There are two sorts of people in this world; those who know you and those who don't. Those who know you can see if you're trying to disguise your age and have a quiet chuckle behind your back. Those who don't know you don't matter.
teacake, I hope you have looked at the links that Chris has put on and you will get a very different picture as to whether or not CF is vain. He has an image to live up to, Peter Pan so of course he has his hair died and has botox and face lifts. Probably one of the reasons he never got married as he never found anyone he loved more than he loves himself.
I'd use a bit of blusher and a lipstick and that's it but that's when I met my friends on Tuesday nights, hair is more important than make up ( and teeth)
Bobbs ///Elvis dyed his hair and that was in the 60s!///
Elvis was 42 yrs old when he died, so we don't know whether he would still be dyeing it if he had lived to be as old as CR. Since I first saw CR trying to copy Elvis, it didn't impress me much,(as Shania Twain would say) and a man trying to improve his looks at 80yrs old to me, is just pathetic.
Bobbs ///Why would anyone want to 'impress' people they couldn't give a flying fart about///
See my post @ 14.15. He has an image to live up to, but everyday folk who want to improve themselves must have a slightly vain streak in them.
