Covid Drive Thru
4 Answers
So today husb had covid test.
Drive thru where u do the swab yourself.
Well there’s no way he did it for the 10-15 sec required. He was gagging too much.
It got me thinking how many people testing are the same and therefore how accurate are results.
BIG PS BELOW:
We think it’s unlikely he has Covid n it’s prob just another seasonal virus but employers wanted him tested ... we personally think Covid does exist, it can be fatal / serious but no more than “normal” flu!

well as ever - no - yes - well done! -
normal flu - 0.3% mortality - covid 3.4% according to WHO - ten times and in UK first phase in certain groups reaching 15% mortality
so blimey it certainly can be fatal
and since March we are no further on from - age and other co morbidities which is 'long' for other diseases specifically diabetes ( very bad) and the usual - heart and lung
but hey yeah if your hubby doesnt die, no one dies is a way fo looking at it

Peter I have no wish for ANY one to die. My husb is classed in the extremely vulnerable category himself so we have given the entire covid a lot of thought since March. I DO still believe that the media has put unnecessary fear into people. That the vulnerable should ge protected (and more funds spent on protecting them, paying full equivalent salaries, ,lhelping their immediate families isolate along with them etc).
I’ve seen my husb hooked up to icu machines for months... I know icu is no joke.
I also know that the vast majority of healthy people will be ok.
Protect the vulnerable... isolate the vulnerable.... that’s where money should be spent
