She found out her partner is now cutting the grass on the other side of the fence ?
Check you are eating a healthy diet and not in need of supplement vitamins etc.
Are you feeling good about yourself, no depression, negative thoughts, poor body image?
Are you getting plenty of sleep and feel as if you have lots of energy?
You and your partner getting on well and enjoying each other's company at the moment?
Are you still having sex regularly?
Is your partner pressuring you to have sex when you don't feel like it?
Are you menopausal?
Do you do it anyway?
Is the 48 yo woman bothered by it or not.
I assume the 48 year old woman is considering her husbands feelings as well as her own.

That is not an unusual state of affairs and I might go further and say it is the normal.
If it is causing little or no problems in your marriage, then don't beat yourself up about it.
Knowing your past history as I do, then it is unlikely to have a physical cause as you have regular blood analysis.
The cause is probably psychological or down to routine sexual boredom.
An affair may well solve your problem, but Knowing you as I do, that is not an option.
Who needs sex most..?.you or your husband?
If it is not bothering either of you, then live with it.
A difficult problem which EVERY marriage goes through.
I am not an expert on the psychology of sex, but you will not be short of helpful answers.

Thank you sqad you know me so very well.
Are you feeling good about yourself, though? Any signs of depression?
Maybe it is a normal winter slump - you might feel differently come spring
Have you had the cosmetic surgery you were planning, Martin?
This is hopefully a lighthearted comment but perhaps true.

My father many years ago said this to me.

"During the first year of marriage, every time you have sex, put a dried pea in a jar"

"After the first year take a pea out each time you indulge and guess what, you will never empty it"
How brave of you to post this, well done.
In my small group of close friends, it would appear to be normal.
Not helpful to you if your husband has been sarky.
Have you had a good chat or is it being sort of ignored?
Too quick!!

And again, for flips sake. Trying to ask if you could grin and bear it once or twice in the hope that you may enjoy it...

I find this time of year difficult because of dad infact this whole year has been difficult.
No the plastic surgery is on hold and tbh that’s ok, I have had 2 major ops in 4 years not ready for another one.
I work from home, recently got a promotion into a fast paced area of work, so career is on the up at the strangest of times.

I don’t mean to paste him in a bad light because he’s not like that at all.
