Two Months To The Day

My ex father in law has died...2 months to the day after my ex mother in law. He was stepfather to my ex and his brother...though they were already adults.
He had a good, long life. I think he was 87, as she was.

I hope you are ok xx we also had a man who died exactly two months after his wife. As my grandad did too. Sometimes, I think, they give up xx

Oh I'm ok, thanks. Yes, sad. But my memories are of when they were both fit and a good deal younger.
My daughter saw him at her grannies funeral, and even then thought he didn't have long. We always thought he'd be the first.
I think they follow so soon because their reason for living is gone.
