.i tried to do the lottery a notice came up saying my account is suspended
.i phoned them with all the info to un block it they said they cannot un block it because they said i told them to suspend it which i did not do
they said it cannot be un blocked any ideas
Put it down to institutional/endemic incompetence/arrogance/whatever (lots of it to be found all over the place) and, if you really want to, establish a new account. Don't be surprised if they give some spurious reason for blocking you from doing that (perhaps giving Data Protection, Security, Better/Improved Service, Your Safety etc., etc. as the explanation).
Or maybe henry pressed something in error and suspended himself?
Is there an unsuspend option when you log in?
If not ask them how your suppose to remove a suspension.
Youll get more luck in the the teconology section than b&s
Which phone number did you call? If it was 0333 234 44 33 then you were speaking to someone at the National Lottery. If you were asked to call a different number it was probably a scam.
Scammers put out fake messages, saying that accounts have been suspended. They then get people to phone premium-rate phone numbers, costing people a fortune! So I'm still not totally convinced that you haven't been scammed.
Have you tried logging into your online account, to see whether there's a problem shown there?
there is no suspend account facility in the UK national Lottery, I just checked. You can take what they call a short break, a long break or permanently exclude yourself. no blocking or suspension.
Unfortunately all it says on the National Lottery website is:
'We need to speak to you to fix this. Please talk to one of our Customer Care Team now.'
It might be worth trying again tomorrow and getting a different person, there is also the option to have a webchat on their contact page.
