My grandson aged almost 17 broke up for the Easter break on Thursday from school , the day one of his classmates tested positive ( second test) for Covid, he’s having a private PCR test this morning which will almost certainly be positive , all his year have to self isolate now for 10 days .....on their school hols

and as for my grandson just staying in, he enjoys bike rides etc and the snow isn’t sufficient enough to prevent that,as I said in my OP, just bad luck I suppose

No, they don’t have to isolate just my grandson, it was a message from the school yesterday , both my daughter and son in law have had their two Jabs , she as a clinical manager at a dental practice and he as a project manager working at a large hospital for his company, now sure if that’s significant or not though ,
