that is bad luck bobbi, my nephew had to iolate for 10 days i think it was? because of the same thing, a classmate tested positive.
That's lucky then; he won't miss any education after all he's missed this year.
my nephews havent missed much schooling as my sister in law is a teacher.
and she made sure they got on with their work.

My daughter sees to it that his education is a paramount ,but having said that, he himself buckles down to do it, he knows this is a very important year
yes it is for most.
in all honesty, there's no better time - he's on holiday from school; there's no-where to go at the moment; he can't meet up with friends indoors anyway and it's snowing!
why can't he just get a test like normal rather than paying?
Does he have symptoms then bobbi that make you think his test will be positive?
neighbour tested +ve
and his wife made him eat off a tin tray in his bedroom for a week !
^ Ahh she must be an AB follower :-)

It isn’t my grandson Bednobs, it’s a classmate of his so I’m not sure why his Mum has gone for the £79 PCR test with him this morning, he’s had two positive results now
and as for my grandson just staying in, he enjoys bike rides etc and the snow isn’t sufficient enough to prevent that,as I said in my OP, just bad luck I suppose
Oh it's the other lad, I thought you meant your grandson was having a test this morning.
Question Author
His classmate has a heavy cold and a tight chest , that’s all,but two positive results have come back due to the twice a week testing in senior schools and because they move around from class to class ( which I never thought was a good idea anyway) the whole of the 6th form are now in isolation
Question Author
No Prudie, it’s a classmate
im really surprised they let him stay after the first one.
has everyone else had to isolate too :(?
Question Author
It appears so bednobs , all of that year has , I assume that’s because they move around to different classrooms ?
sorry i meant your daughter and husband, or is it limited to grandson?
My grandson was working away in Slovakia late last year. The job took about 3 months and he was allowed home after about 6 weeks for ten days, before flying back. Yep, you've guessed, he had to self isolate for those ten days:-(
Question Author
No, they don’t have to isolate just my grandson, it was a message from the school yesterday , both my daughter and son in law have had their two Jabs , she as a clinical manager at a dental practice and he as a project manager working at a large hospital for his company, now sure if that’s significant or not though ,
