My grandson aged almost 17 broke up for the Easter break on Thursday from school , the day one of his classmates tested positive ( second test) for Covid, he’s having a private PCR test this morning which will almost certainly be positive , all his year have to self isolate now for 10 days .....on their school hols
My daughter sees to it that his education is a paramount ,but having said that, he himself buckles down to do it, he knows this is a very important year
in all honesty, there's no better time - he's on holiday from school; there's no-where to go at the moment; he can't meet up with friends indoors anyway and it's snowing!
why can't he just get a test like normal rather than paying?
It isn’t my grandson Bednobs, it’s a classmate of his so I’m not sure why his Mum has gone for the £79 PCR test with him this morning, he’s had two positive results now
and as for my grandson just staying in, he enjoys bike rides etc and the snow isn’t sufficient enough to prevent that,as I said in my OP, just bad luck I suppose
His classmate has a heavy cold and a tight chest , that’s all,but two positive results have come back due to the twice a week testing in senior schools and because they move around from class to class ( which I never thought was a good idea anyway) the whole of the 6th form are now in isolation
My grandson was working away in Slovakia late last year. The job took about 3 months and he was allowed home after about 6 weeks for ten days, before flying back. Yep, you've guessed, he had to self isolate for those ten days:-(
No, they don’t have to isolate just my grandson, it was a message from the school yesterday , both my daughter and son in law have had their two Jabs , she as a clinical manager at a dental practice and he as a project manager working at a large hospital for his company, now sure if that’s significant or not though ,
