To give a proper answer, spice. I did and I do respect that. Look through all those threads, and I didn't disagree about other people's feelings, or call anybody names.
So, why can those same people, not treat others with the same respect? It may not offend you, personally... but other people's feelings are equally valid.

there's a report today (can't remember where) about some student who has got herself in bother by asserting that women are born with vaginas. not all that long ago, a statement like that would have been accepted as scientific or medical truth; nowadays it'll likely get you thrown out of your workplace/university, and reported to the police as a hate crime, just for good measure.
