Did the GP not recommend anything after the X-ray results?

Ibuprofen may help.

I have the same problem due to arthritis in my right hip. I find effervescent paracetamol is quite good.

i tried naproxen codomol codene codene got very sick told doc he said try it once more i will not nasty taste as well
