I have had my booster luckily, but just wondered how often we would get this, will it be every six months?

There seems to have been no clear decision on repeat boosters as yet but the 'best guess' opinion, that I've seen on several websites (including that of the BBC), is that Covid boosters will become offered annually, in the same way that flu jabs already are.

That guess is also reflected in the relevant answer (to the last question in the list) here on the website of the British Heart Foundation:

No idea smurfy and neither does anyone else.
One resistant variant with a high rate of transmission might change present vaccination policies out of the water.
amazingly they are following up infection in the vaccinated
actually not difficult to do

and they will be doing that after boosters....
