We are given lots of covid stats on the news every day. What I want to know is how many of those in hospital or sadly deceased, were unvaccinated.

well, in the early stages 100%

the time element ( and how it changes things) has escaped the vast majority of ABers who against logic insist it doesnt matter and or is irrelevant

as of last week, people un vaccinated on ITUs - over 90%, those dying over 90% - this is constantly repeated by all the doctors ( over europe) who are interviewed by television crews about pts in intensive care

It says the factor is 32 - what? for every one dying vaccinated, 32 deaths unvaccinated deaths

later on it says ( per head - 850 to 25 - ) that is for every 850 deaths of unvaccinated there are a matching 25 fully vaccinated

rates and ratios are given as the hack writing the piece understands it. The usual situation is - "and they dont understand very much at all" - " and never seem to learn"

The fatalities are usually not just the number - a thousand dead in ENgland may not be comparable to 1000 dead in germany because there are more Germans
so it is sensible to do it per head of population ( England 60m Germany 83 m) - even this simple correction causes chaos in most people

If the vaccines work, why does it matter how many are unvaccinated?

Course it matters. Vacccines are never 100 % effective for a start so the vaccinated can still get it or be ill or in hospital or die but are less likely to be seriously ill.
Unvaccinated are more likely to catch it and spread it either to other unvaxxed or to the vaxxed. More spreading can mean more chance of variants. Allso unvaxxed who get ill cause pressure in hospitals. Until maybe 90 % are vaxxed and 100% in carehomes and hospitals the disease will spread and continue to disrupt lives and kill people.
So yes it matters

Gears someone on the radio the other day saying they would not risk putting the vaccine in there body until a doctor would assute them in writing there was zero risk of any complications from the vax which obviously no doctor can say. I wonder if people are so fussy about what they eat drink smoke or inject and whether they refuse say paracetamol or the pill

A major worry is fertility. Some won't have it until there's 100% proof it don't affect fertility. They never sem to say why they think it might have any affect other than they perhaps heard it on Facebook or mums net etc.
