For a few days now I seem to have blocked sinuses which makes me feel headachy and tired.
I know that nasal sprays are probably the way to go, but I can't stand spraying something up my nose.
Are there any over the counter tablets I can take that will make me feel better? TIA.
There seems to be a bug going around that gives people sinus problems at the moment. I had that before I got covid (then it came back again after covid). Apart from Sudafed tablets, I find that menthol and eucalyptus inhalation helps (although I think it's really the steam that does the job)
/////I find that nasal sprays don't really help much as they tackle the problem only in the lower reaches of the respiratory (nasal) passages when in actual fact the problem lies higher up in the sinus passages of the face and frontal /////
I dont understand that and think it may well be a typo.
I see no reason for antibiotics at this stage and from the above information.

Yes, I think someone else suggested that.
I'm pretty sure I have some eucalyptus oil I can put into an oil burner and I will also add some menthol sweets onto my Tesco list.
I don`t want to scare you, but in July I thought I had sinusitus, I went to see my ENT, he poked his camera up my nose and told me that my sinuses were fine and to have a Covid test. Turns out he was correct and I had caught Covid. Fortunately I had had the two vaccines so only had a couple of relatively rough days.
