Those Who Have Had Covid Lately

I had a friend over today, having seen nobody over Christmas. Her whole family Took lateral flow tests before getting together over Christmas. However, when she got home from seeing me, she tested positive. I was just wondering what the likelihood is that I have caught it from her, bearing in mind she was technically negative when we were together? Has anybody else been in the situation?

My friend (or more acurrately my friends wife) is positivly anal about all of this.
She would have read the instructions a million times.

also meant to add we are both triple jabbed, and i credit that with the fact we havent got it (yet!).
we did however cancel our Xmas get together with my parents as they are both vulnerable (mid-late 70s)

I had Covid about a month ago, although I have no idea what strain; I only found out as I was asked to do a test to attend an event. We’re it not for the test I wouldn’t have known I had it - I suffered zero symptoms.

Im unjabbed and credit that with the fact that I havnt got it yet so how does that work?

it's perfectly ok for people to think different things though naillt/? I thought that's what you'd been trying to say (for a long time) that it was ok to have different thoughts?
Anyway, how do you knw you didnt catch it yet? have you been doing testing? i thought you were aginst testing too, but so many of your posts get zapped i cant say that with any confidence

LOL bednobs, exactly. Even I loose track of what I was saying...it gets ridiculous.
Im not a Covid denier.
Im not an anti-vaxxer.
Im not against anyone taking the present precautions etc.

All im asking is that I be given the equell right to NOT inject my body with something that I dont feel comfortable with at this present moment. And NOT be villified for it!

Testing isnt the best indicator when the tests are flawed!

All tests are flawed in that there not always right (... eg breast cancer screening...) but there right far more than there wrong

I couldnt care less what an anti vaxer is. Ive had mine.
What I havnt had is an experimental chemical pumped into my body for a virus that has an over 99% recovery rate.

I dont know whats in tattoo ink or dental anathesia but ive had both of those because they have a long history of been safe.

I guess you also refuse to eat new food products/drinks or take medicine from your doctor or chemists until you've researched all the history

How you get from food to medicine is a leap in itself but yes, I would refuse.

Ive been prescribed many meds, and refused to take them upon reading the MOST common side effects.

Thanks. Well your consistent so I see where your coming from on this, although maybe your not aware the covid vaccines are not as new as you think... there based on SARS and MERS vaccines several yearsearlyer
