I had a friend over today, having seen nobody over Christmas. Her whole family Took lateral flow tests before getting together over Christmas. However, when she got home from seeing me, she tested positive. I was just wondering what the likelihood is that I have caught it from her, bearing in mind she was technically negative when we were together? Has anybody else been in the situation?

I could be, my daughter tested positive yesterday and I was with her Christmas Day. Waiting game now. She was negative Christmas Eve.

Just thinking a covid test don’t really stand up , its like a mot it only says your clear now but mean nowt 10 minutes later .
