But all seems okay in the ‘downstairs’ department , no letter , nothing and our practice only contacts you should they have to so I’m just going to get back on the treadmill of life and have plenty of fun and holidays , thanks to all who showed concern

Pale blue at the moment ( hair) may have to go lilac to celebrate :0)
Are we talking about downstairs hair or upstairs hair pls?
Triggs behave!! Still the same old triggs :0))
//and our practice only contacts you should they have to//

Wouldn't it be worth contacting the surgery anyway, just to see if they have received the results ?
Question Author
I’ll probably do that next week but we have really surly receptionist there :0)))
I agree with the post of Bazile 11.46.

This is slovenly, unacceptable standard of health care which is pervading the NHS.

Normal results are just as important as abnormal results to the patient................and to the doctor.
My practice is exactly the same but I request copies of the results to which they put up barriers, but eventually get my way.

Access to your medical records is your right.
/Wouldn't it be worth contacting the surgery anyway, just to see if they have received the results/

Our practice says the will contact you only if necessary, but adviseyou to phone anyway in case there are other issues that may need discussing. I find that a bit confusing!!

Similarly ours Pat , I’m not unduly worried either way as I said I’ll likely give them a call and speak to our very bored reception x

Well as we've said before, no news usually means good news but I agree about checking in with your surgery. Will definitely put your mind at rest, Bobbi x
