Can I please confirm I am correct in a point?
Too much chocolate isn't good for children. A responsible parent will quietly reduce the amount of chocolate in the house, by surreptitiously consuming some of it.
Am I right?

Some might argue though that 'good parenting' should mean 'strict parenting'.

If you were a responsible parent, you wouldn't buy your children too much chocolate anyway. Therefore, you wouldn't actually have to steal it from them.

When my children were young and got too much chocolate it wasn't due to us being bad parents.
Being they were the first of that generation, there were excited grandparents and aunties who wanted to show their love by giving them gifts.
