Really Irritating Cough.

A few days ago I developed this really dry cough - once I start I can’t stop for ages. I took a Covid test which is negative, but this cough is still driving me mad. I’m taking over the counter cough medicine which isn’t making any difference. Anything else best to try? TIA.

Every so often I get a dry cough, (long before Covid)
I find a little Honey helps soothe it.

Have messaged doctors surgery on their app - you write what the issue is and then doctor calls you if he feels it’s necessary.

I can see no connection between your back problems and the cough.

Have you started any new medication ? I had a dry cough for ages and ages and then my cardiologist changed my BP pills and voilà, cough gone.

Could be the heat, especially if you're not drinking enough water. Acid reflux can also cause a dry cough. Hope you can get some answers soon, Smow.

I drink gallons of water daily - only thing changed is I’ve just started taking a new med - combing calcium & Vit D tab for osteopenia?
