Try some Gaviscon in the mean time, until you speak with GP.

It is symptoms of a hiatus hernia.

See your GP for a chat and go from there.
Not enough information.

How long has this been happening?
How old are you?
Have you lost weight?
Does food stick in your gullet?
Do you taste acid in your mouth?

Could be a hiatus henia as suggested by A-H, but would prefer not to comment further until my questions have been answered.
Roadman - you should listen to Sqad, he has more knowledge on medical matters than most of us on here, and certainly more than I do.
Interesting. I get, not uncommon occasions, where I bring up less than a mouthfull of undigested food, often multiple times, too. Interestingly, usually but not exclusively, when I've gone upstairs to shower. It tends to be slightly acidic. But I do occasionally get indigestion issues, have done for decades. Like all the vast numbers of other minor annoyances, I just live with it.

Good advice to see/talk to your GP.

sqad this has been happening since last thursday i am not happy to disclose my exact age i am younger than 35 and older than 25 i have not lost weight and no food doesnt get stuck in my gullet but i do sometimes think if i had a pint of water then throwing up wouldnt be as unpleasant as it is no acid until yesterday and this morning

please do you know how i would know if it was a hiatus hernia
Thank you roadman, then I am pretty sure that we are not dealing with anything life threatening and the diagnosis rests between a Hiatus hernia and Gerds ( Google it).

Yes, try the Gaviscon by all means and if it doesn't settle, then you will need a camera down your gullet (endoscopy) or an X-Ray.( Ba swallow)
