A Bit Of Nostalgia
12 Answers
I recently bought a copy of Readers Digest (the first for over 50 years) and was surprised to find it hasn't changed much, some of the regular features (e.g. Word Power) still there, and bizarre articles like "knitting a hat for your dog".
It was the latter which inspired this post's nostalgia because it included how to make a pompom using two circles of cardboard with a hole cut in the middle.
When I was a kid we used the cardboard milk bottle tops with hole ready made, sadly long gone, they were superseded by flimsy tinfoil the birds pecked through. [Sigh]

That is indeed nostalgia for me. I made loads of those things as a kid!
I also remember filling lots of rubber moulds with plaster of Paris to make various ornaments and some basket weaving too.
A little more nostalgia . . .

Nostalgia ,,,,
There was a time when time didn’t matter only the time of day
And living was living in hope which would never pass away
Well it was a Monday morning when weekend was done
Fear was the fear of being what we had become
Oh what happened to you
Whatever happened to me
What became of the people we used to be
Tomorrow’s almost over today went by so fast
It’s the only thing to look forward to the past
