The person may have been a man dressed in what are nowadays usually considered women's clothes. Not a big deal. Roman soldiers and Scots wha' hae wi' Wallace bled, and Swiss guards all do/did the same.

oh any sandbank can be a spit
but if it goes to an island (why go to yell where there are 7 but it is very hard to get to) when you cd go to Portland or english St Michaels mount
