No, Gness...never saw them till first Christmas here. Which was on my first visit back in 1980. :0

Towards our first Christmas in Canada, Pasta I realised there were no Christmas Crackers. UK visitors brought a box which amused our Canadian guests....and that was before we set fire to the pudding.

My cousin recently married an American and she's just had her first Christmas here. She was fascinated by her first experience of cracker pulling.

There were so many odd things when I first came, that may have fallen by the wayside.

We had crackers which had no gadgets or toys in them. Just a hat and joke. More environmentally friendly :o)

The year I made the crackers with my little girl, Tiggs I lost the snaps. We all had to shout bang when we pulled them. :-(

Pasta.Still here for a while. I'm just not at all impressed with how things have been handled. My thread got zapped .And, in fact, whilst I really want to keep in such with nice people like you I am not prepared to tiptoe around on here ignoring. If there was a way to keep in touch Pasta, and others , I would love it.

While this thread remains, I need to make an apology to Naomi. The thread got zapped before I had the chance. I realise that I singled naomi out and tried to put it right but it got zapped youve done your very best Naomi.

My head tells me the right thing is to leave AB.
