Good Sunday morning birdies xx wow what a deluge we had yesterday...had 2 lots of visitors so had a good old catch up... today looks like another wet one..so men's final at Womblybum for me.. doubt there will be time for much else as I expect it to be a lengthy battle..so all domestic necessities will be attended to this morning before I plop down. At least the roof will be covered! That also means watching Wibblybum and it's a rather delicious prospect in the making. My view is that the longer the match, the more likely it is 'Jockowhich' but then I got yesterday's completely wrong. Shame about Jaber - it went wrong from that very first forehand drive that was only just out and she just didn't appear to have her radar on.
I got back last night to find the highlights of the Scottish Open on - from just down the road from you, minty. Haven't played that Renaissance course yet but I think I prefer its next door neighbour - one of my favourite golf courses - last time there, hitting an 82 in a wind blowing 30mph. Madness it was - the Spectacles played with a half six iron as a chip and run, landing on the right green and running through the valley to the pin set on the left 'glass' and not that far from the 'private to public' wall - about 130 yards if I remember well, and I managed the 12 foot putt, a rare event indeed to have a birdie. Those two front bunkers are, as the les francais say, 'Formidable'.....

It’ll be on but we started yesterday with the new bed which has storage underneath, putting stuff in and throwing other stuff out , I was left with two empty Otterman’s which I put on FB for anyone local ,they could have them f.o.c so my friend Laura is coming for one and my son in laws nephew , the other, around 2pm
Aww I know DTC , the Wombley Way hasn’t grabbed me this year, I used to love characters of the game and now there is none , naturally I was hoping for Murray to go further as he’s British ,I liked the days of McEnroe,Connors and who could forget the very funny Illiyan Nastase when he came on court by crawling out under the tarpaulin :0))))
