I am taking three different drugs prescribed by my consultant. I saw her very recently and she didn't mention any additional supplements that I could buy.

She knows I'm not adverse to taking supplements so I'm fairly confident she would have if she thought they'd help.
I tried saw palmetto until the tub finished. It said 4 large tablets a day, but I considered that expensive, and a bit many, so only took 2 a day. I didn't experience a lot of difference but I think I should try again, since it was just one tubful and half the recommended daily dosage. (They ought to squeeze more active ingredient into a normal size tablet, though.)
They might, or they might not........supplements that is.

Your money.....your choice to try them.

"Prostate problems?".........you have of course sought medical advice and know what prostate problems you are dealing with?

Thank you for your advice,i'm going on holiday tomorrow so seeing a doctor is out of the question, for ages i have had to get up in the night for the toilet, but the last couple of nights it's been 5or 6 times,so i thought if i could just get through until we get back off holiday maybe the supplements i've seen advertised might help.
Have you seen a doctor about your prostate, do you have a diagnosis?
