Needles

I have been giving myself small needles with clot prevention solution for 8 days now. I have another two to go - who do give them back to. The chemist or doctors. The sharps are covered by a little sheath.

My council states medical sharps can be bagged, sealed and disposed of in the wheelie bin unless they are classed as hazardous waste.
If they were hazardous you would have been given a small, secure yellow bin to put them in and take to the chemist.
I would wrap them in foil, tie them up in a plastic bag and sling in the bin.

Did you not get any instructions from GP/hospital. On the couple of occasions Mr U had them, he was given a sharps box and when the course was finished he had to take it back to the hospital to dispose of.

Just put them in the bin you have and take it to the chemist after the last dose

JJ Needles and syringes are classed as hazardous waste and must never be put in a normal household rubbish bin.
When you have used a needle, put it in the yellow bin you've got and when you have finished with it, any chemist should take that from you and dispose of it for you.
