If I have arthritis in the feet is it ok for me to run gently. I need to lose weight and this is the only exercise I can do. Thanks

And look at your diet, maybe cut down your carbs, for a woman a portion of potatoes is an ice cream scoop of mash,or 2 egg sized boiled potatoes , or a baked spud the size of a smallish apple. Or about 8-10 chips Rice a small yoghurt pot, pasta ,30g raw weight.

I agree with Pete, don't put yourself through it. Very minimal weight is lost through exercise in comparison with a calorie deficit. Find out your BMR and your TDEE Through online calculators, and eat at a deficit of around 500 cal per day if you can. Or work it out over the week so some days you eat less and some days you eat more.
