PMQs today. How nice it was to hear the Speaker address Rishi Sunak as the Leader of The opposition Party. And then hear Sir Keir Starmer saying that Labour were elected to sort out the mess the Tories had got the Country into.So very very true on both counts.

And what a mess it is. Its really funny when folk keep asking why Britain is broken and the credit card is maxed out.:0)

If he was elected to sort out a mess, why has he tried to make things worse ever since he took over ? Does he not understand his job ?

I would be interested in how he is making things worse. If you maybe refering to the winter energy payment being canceled? then that is the sort of moves one as to take when any government thinks they have a bottomless purse. I would bet that if this government or the past idiots decided to pay the winter fuel allowance direct to the energy companies there would have been the same out cry :0))

//I would be interested in how he is making things worse.//

Really?  Even many labour voters are complaining and MP's.

nicebloke1, if the books are in such a bad state how come they can give out big pay rises to many of their union mates with many more to come I expect.  Can you tell me where the money is coming from to pay these?

the books were open to all, the IFS didnt have a problem but suddenly Robber Reeves does.

Its a big wopping lie and along with the cronyism shows excatly what this bunch of loosers are.

And of course #twotierkier.

You lost, its about time you sucked it up. You can carry on looking or making up bad press for KS government, like or lump it he is making the right moves for the welfare of this country. If and when i think he's not I'll say so.

nicebloke1, you sound just like gulliver1.  How about an answer to the question I asked instead of suck it up.

No one is making it up though.  That's what they did - and given your previous post that should be something you object to.  Another Labour flip-flopper.

How ? Just about everything announced, that's how. Caving in to pay claims, going to the EU to not rejoin (wink, wink, wink), stopping the only attempt to deter illegal immigrants, stating that he isn't interested in detering them by spouting nonsense about new border force, trying to prevent free speech, controlling the agenda, letting criminals out early, etc...

Oh, by the way, that 40million pound, YES 40 MILLION contract that Sunak made with a private helecopter company to fly him round in, SK has ripped the contract up. Great to have a REAL working PM at last, who means business.

Oh he means business.  It's just a pity he doesn't understand business.

Still no answer to my 13.27 post then nicebloke1.  You sound as lost as your leader.

nicebloke: "I would be interested in how he is making things worse" - by giving in to the public sector inflation busting pay rises. By giving the unions back their power, effectively guaranteeing high inflation and thus high interest rates. I wonder how many with a mortgage voted labour. Then of course the WFP fiasco and the general "lets bash the pensioners" policy. oh but of course we'll still give £20bn in foriegn aid and £11.6bn to gawd knows who for "Climate change initiatives". Then at home the old Net (lets cut our own throats for no benefit) zero .....I could go on!

Nicebloke: "You lost, its about time you sucked it up." - I am, just answering your questions me old china. You presumably see nothing wrong through your Red shades.

nicebloke: "Oh, by the way, that 40million pound, YES 40 MILLION contract that Sunak made with a private helecopter company to fly him round in, SK has ripped the contract up. " - great now rip up the foreign aid £20bn. Yes 20bn, that's 20x10^9 as opposed to 4x10^7 that's 500 PM helicopters for those who can't do arithmetic.

// How nice it was to hear the Speaker address Rishi Sunak as the Leader of The opposition Party //

and how amusing it was to hear the prime minister refer to the leader of the opposition as, um, the prime minister......

I would wish that Robber Reeves was on the tv and gave an honest, straight answer to this question.

How can you justify giving away billions to other Countries for climate change help etc etc while removing the much much smaller cost of the removal of winter payments to our elderly.

TTT.  I woudn't bother putting all that effort in to answering me, because I've realised that your posts are full of trash and excuses. You tend to keep droning on along the same lines and repeating youself day in day out. I honestly just scroll right past. Just thought I would save you a little time.
