Serum/Moisturiser

Ladies,

Do you use serum and moisturiser together, or one or the other?

I tend to use serum one day and moisturiser the next day. Do I need both at the same time?

Just reading a bit on Aldi serum which says it should be used after moisturiser. I've never used serum just moisturiser

This link, on the Aldi website, says (in respect of Lacura Q10 Renew Anti Wrinkle Multi Intensive Serum 50ml) "Use on its own or follow with your usual day/night cream":

Blimey Tilly it's a bit of a minefield. I just googled 'serum or moisturiser first' and that says serum then moisturiser. Sorry for some reason I can't post links anymore

Don't worry, Margo. If you don't use serum it doesn't matter to you.

I have used both in past. I now use moisturiser, the No.7  Instant illusions. Airbrush Away Primer. They're really impressive! You can get different ones.

I've always applied eye cream, serum and then moisturiser in that order.

The No. 7 Future Renew is good, but occasionally I'll have different ones from gift sets or beauty calendars.

Hi Tilly, skin looks good with or without makeup with this product. Most days I wear a  little light foundation on the top. My skin looks smoother. I'd highly recommend it. 😀

i used to use protect and perfect (no.7) and one day i noticed the men's version had exactly the sme ingredients but was cheaper!

Or you could do what Pamela Anderson and myself do, and stop wearing makeup, which I did about 25 years ago. I've never used any kind of face cream/anti wrinkle stuff/serum (what's that??) and just wash my face with simple face gel.

The only stuff I put on it is sunblock.

Im no oil painting but I'm happy and confident with me 🥸

I use Future renew serum followed by the moisturiser, if I am going to wear make up I then use the primer as well.

Good job we're all different,Vagus. The last time I wore make up was Christmas Day but I do like to wear something pleasant on my face, even on down days.
