I think maybe you should be careful the socks aren't too tight, otherwise they might restrict the blood circulation!!

I always wear socks to bed as I can't sleep if my feet are cold and as has been suggested by two other contributors as long as you change them regularly and they don't cut off your circulation there's no reason why you shouldn't wear'em in bed.
