How many people?

I was just wondering roughly how many people make up the main religions/cultures throughout the world, with all this cartoon nonsense going on I'm starting to feel as if the Muslims are taking over.

I'm sure I read that there are about 1.5 billion of them, so if we say world is approximately 6 billion, what are the other 4.5 billion? I expect our Chinese friends take up a big chunk, and whatever they are in India.

How many Christians are there out there, more than Muslims?

Thanks - a bit re-assured that Muslims are still in number 2 spot. It seems they are making a bid for number one though, looks like Team Church need to pull their fingers out.
