Ok, so we all seem a little down in the dumps. Thing that make me happy are:
Chocolate, wine, bed, films (all incorporated if poss)

- Being able to hang lots of washing out on the line on a sunny day and not having to worry about drying it
- Pottering about the house on a Spring morning with a duster and some music on in the background
Oh dear, I didn't realise I liked housework so much.
- Going to bed knowing I don't have to get up for work the next day, and will have time to cook myself a proper English breakie. Yay !
- A day off shopping ending at the pub with my friends.
- reading a Bill Bryson book, and being able to laugh my head off and not look like an idiot!
- buying lots of girlie mags, ice cream and wine, curling up on the sofa in my robe, and watch friends.
- coming out of the hairdresser NOT looking like I stuck my fingers in a socket.
- strangers smiling at me on the street.
- unexpected offers to go out on a bad day.
I'm sure I could go on ! :-) Oh, and Happy Valentines to all of us happy singletons !

- That feeling you get when you wake up at the weekend, and think you have work for a split second, but then realise it's a Saturday/Sunday

- When I cook a meal from a recipie and it goes totally 100% perfect
- My dog being insanely happy to see me, even if I've just stepped outside for a minute or two.
