Arthritis symptoms?
3 Answers
Anyone know what tests are done to find out if you have arthritis? I don't really have a doctor, but I was talking to a pharmacist who asked me various questions about my symptoms (very sore arms from shoulder to elbow, worse in mornings, sore when doing certain movements etc) and he said it was more than likely arthritis. I have started taking glucosamine and trying to cut out unnecessary carbs (well it is cold out there,,,). Any ideas much appreciated.

The reason I ask, is because a Doctor can give you a thorough examination & tell whether you are suffering from Arthritis. He/she can also keep your medical records on file & refer you to a see a specialist if need be.
I do hope you are able to register with a GP in your area. Good luck & get well soon.
You must register with a doctor.Arthritis has many forms from rheumatism to full blown osteoarthritis to other conditions like fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis for example.
A doctor will take blood tests to establish what is wrong. They can also do bone density and bone scans. Pharmacists are very helpful up to a point but I would suggest a visit to a doctor.
Supplements can help but won't cure it.There is no cure for arthritis.See a doctor before it takes hold.....if indeed it is arthritis. You need a proper diagnosis. Iboprufen will help if it is very painful and you can also get the gel to rub in.
Do go to the doctor !!
