My daughter has so far spent over �50 on calls to Quizmania without ever getting selected ! I watch it some nights for a bit of light relief, but have never called in yet. It's always a bonus if Debbie King is presenting...... what a stunner !

Have to agree with Henrymullen. Working nights I some time watch this programme, never are the obvious answers there and when someone does win, when asked what they are going to do with the Winnings!! they say pay the Phone Bill !!!!!! need I say anymore....

You can enter for nothing via the web, they ring you back, from then on its the same as phoning, no I haven't got through like this but have heard some on the TV who have.

quiz mania is making the tv channel an absolute fortune and at the expense of us who phone in and also watch adding to their ratings.

if you are really that bored at that time of night why don't you just go onto this website instead. start your own thread like "word association" or "name your 100 top films" or "what was your favourite tv programme as a child" etc etc.

there are loads of ways of having fun and using your grey matter without lining the pockets of tv companies and also telephone companies by using 09 premium rate numbers.

if you have �50 to chuck away then chuck it at something that matters, children's charities, or charities for animals, cancer, blind or deaf - anything who will do good with it. this quiz thing all came about when they realized how much money they could make following the success of programmes like brainteaser etc. it doesn't take a genius to work out who the real winners are - every time !!

so, does anyone remember an awful programme called "how" when we were kids or worse still "follyfoot"!!
