Thank You (Better late than never)!
Sorry I didn't reply to your answers on my Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital thread here earlier, but haven't rec'd any e-mail notifications letting me know that I'd received any! -x-
(I have since e-mailed the Ed & Tech's informing them of the technical fault).

I've had some very strange & worrying after effects from the procedure, but am told that they & the chest pains will subside in time. I'm so looking forward to the sun coming out & it being warmer!
Take care & enjoy your day.
I'm looking forward to the sun too smudge, and I'm soooo happy, because I'm off to see mum and dad on Sunday, and I haven't seen them for months!!!!
You've been through a pretty rough procedure, and I think you're very brave. I'm sure you're feeling rough as rough at the mo, but heres to lap tops!!! tea being served in bone china cups :-) (oh noooo!!! i'm a young version of Hyacinth...) and getting better as quickly as possible for the summer. Take Care. asci x
Ah asci, that is so sweet of you. I really haven't got the slightest bit of energy to do anything at the mo' - the niggly pains in my chest & groin area keep reminding me not to overdo it either! I'm just going to sit down & drink the nice cup of tea you've made me - can't beat it in bone china cups! (My family & friends used to call me Hyacinth Bouquet - can't think why)!
Have a wonderful time with your dear Mum & Dad & enjoy the springtime too. -x-
Good morning & thank you for your good wishes too gessoo.
I had a bad day yesterday, sobbed at the doc's (silly me), he told me that it will take several weeks rather than days to recover from what I've had done & that I'm expecting too much from myself too soon! He said I must rest, no lifting or heavy housework! I'm going to find that very hard going, as spring is here & I'm busting to do some spring cleaning & gardening. I'm usually up at 8:00 every day, but didn't get up until 9:45 this morning, so at least I've had a long sleep.
Just off to take my daily Aspirin, pain killers & vitamins, with a nice cup of tea in my bone china mug - definiately tastes better!
Enjoy your day all. -x-
Smudge, I sobbed at the Doctors the other week too!! He said I was expecting too much by way of a quick recovery from my broken vertebra. I just felt so useless and defeated. However, things are a lot better now.
Just rest and make the most of it. You will soon be back to your normal self - let yourself be spoilt for a while.
