I sometimes do it a few days before a really important date, and it really does work - the best thing is that my belly is a lot flater at the end of it.
Good Luck!
You're thinking of the Cabbage Soup plan most likely - designed to drop weight for pre-op patients. Recipe here: http://www.cabbagesoupdietplan.com/ and eating plan here: http://www.dieting-review.com/cabbagesoupdietplan.htm
Advice is only use this for 7 days and don't come back to it for 14 days. Drink loads of water in the day as well. Some health food shops ofer a stock mix like this but it will be better to get fresh veg and not rely on 'powdered mixes'
Well, You will mostly just lose water if you try any of the "FAD" diets... And if your not eating very much you will lose some weight but then you will make your bodys system go into starvation mode.. NOT GOOD because then as soon as you eat anything it will collect it as fat and hold onto it.. causeing your weight to go UP.. then you will " diet" again dropping you weight way to fast .. then you will eat "normal" and your weight will go up even higher. this is called the YO YO effect.. people who live like this eat and diet eat and diet and always wonder why ITS NOT WORKING haha
If you want to drop weight drink lots and lots of water..even when you feel like a snack its most likely because you need more water in your system.. so no snacks (ATER) Be very active.. eat your vegys chicken and fruits per day.... and remember food is fuel for the body .. nothing more.. so no big plate fulls.. and you should never let your self get full to the point were you couldnt jump around if you wanted to... I could go on and on but I wont hahaha
GOOD LUCK!!! Be healthy.. JEN
