From what I hear, its quite a popular place on a Saturday night. If swinging isnt your scene, you could try the Dover Castle on Dover Street. I know its a good place to meet new people, especially if youre hung like a donkey. A lad I work with says that you cant fail to pull in there!
hi jimboy2, as far as i know the Dover Castle is a gay pub! don't let them wind you up! and yes there is a very famous zoo in leicester, twycross, worth a visit sometime. As far as meeting new people, that just depends what you're into. Have a look on the net. there must be loads really but i'm not into social groups so i wouldn't really know what to suggest.let me know how you get on and if you find anything interesting to do. Hope you like our town!
Not me Jimboy2, i'm sorry you now have a poor view of Leicester people!!! i can assure you that you have just encountered a few reprebates ;-) You keep your innocence intact and avoid these dens of iniquity!!!! You are living the opposite end of Leicester to me so i'm not sure what is out that way. i live fairly near the town centre. Glad you'e finding Leicester ok, i think its a bit crap really! Good luck on meeting some nice Leicesterites, there are plenty of us around!!!!
loads more! Its a bit remote out your way. there are some great leisure centres where you would meet new people. where are you originally from? i'm just being nosey!!!! ;-) ignore my quip about leicester being crap, i guess i'm a bit disillusioned! There are plenty of good things about our fine city if you look! good luck in your quest!
i love the countryside, but don't think i could cope with living in it! I have only been to Scotland twice, once very recently to Glasgow, which i thought was great, although only spent one night there, the other time was to get married, take a guess???? I want to spend loads more time there in the future! sorry to waffle, going off your original question.
