can anyone help me i bought a plasma tv from tiny paid cash �1099 for it got told it would take 7weeks to come .it dident come so i phoned and cancelled my order thay said thay would send me a cheque asp 4weeks past and i never got it i phoned again only to be told thay sent it then thay said thay dident but would send it out that day never got it another 4weeks past then read in the paper the tiny had went bankrupt was told we wouldent get any money back as securad credititters come first witch i dont think is fair becouse thay must have knowen when thay took our money that thay where going bankrupt we saved for a year to buy the tv .do we have any rights is there anyway for us to get our money back any suggestions are welcome

The sniveling rats!!! All I can suggest is write to the papers, watch dog on the TV etc and hope that someone responsible has an ounce of decency to make sure you either get a TV or your money reimbursed.

I know whar you mean, we got stitched on a fitted Kitchen, you'd never seen such shoddy work, then they went int liquidation, we went to the 'Office of Fair Trading', and they said that all the big creditors get paid first, and if there's enough left after that, we 'might' get something, we never did, but thats the route to go, the OFT. and see what they say, and good luck.

did you by any chance pay for the tv with a credit card or visa card etc... this may well provide some insurance for missing products if you used one get in touch with the company and ask.
