i am very concerned about my partners health at the moment, recently i have asked him to go and see a doctor, he says he will but never gets around to it. would it be wrong of me to call his surgery and explain that i am worried and maybe they could ask him in for a general check up? thanks

Sit down with your partner and explain that it would really mean a lot to you if he went to see his doctor. Explain thet you are concerned and you'll even go with him. If he sees how much you want him to do this then he should call the surgery soon as. Good luck x

thanks for that advice but i have already said that to him, deep down he knows he's not well and needs help but won't admit to it, and the more i keep on at him the more he says he's ok. this has been going on for months now i've got angry with him on occasions and had tears on others, still i can't get him to go. so now i have let the subject drop for the last couple of weeks. i am just going round in circles with him.

Maybe you should start approaching this from the other end now, Ask him if he is going to make a will and also start bringing up the subject of burial or cremation and where the grave might be etc... Maybe he needs a bit of a shock to get him to see sense.
