I don't beleive that anyone should have any part of thier body altered before they are old enough to make the decision themselves, even ear peircings and the like. What are other peoples opinions? and is religion a valid exception? If my parents had me unnecessarily circumcised I don't think I'd view them with the same respect.

oh my gosh pugwashjw!! write a book on the subject. To answer your Q pagey, if i have kids i will circumsize them. I just prefer it. My mum never circumsized my brothers, but i just prefer it. Also in the bible

nancie, have you considered how your sons may feel at the age when they realise they have an incomplete penis?

Do you not beleive they have the right to decide whether thier body is modified for cosmetic reasons?

pugwash, Are you very board today? haha whoa
My ex boyfriend was circumcised aged 24 for medical reasons. He had no problems with the healing etc. There's NO reason why adult men can't go and have it done if they want. Babies have no choice and I believe it shouldn't be done considering it's basically a cosmetic procedure.

Surely a better idea, rather than chopping parts of babies bodies off (and have you seen the contraption they use to hold the little boys down?!) is to teach young men good personal hygiene?
And p.s there's a lot of things said in the bible: that doesn't make it right.
